Columbia University School of Social Work offers a new flat rate tuition model for all full time students in Two-year, Advanced Standing, Transfer and 16-month programs. The semester charge is $16,186* per semester for 4 terms.

  • International students who are required to complete the Immersion Seminar have a 5-term flat rate charge.
  • Advanced Standing students will have a separate summer term charge (fee to be determined).

The cost of tuition and fees for the 2009-2010 academic year is estimated to be $36,277 for a full-time student.

Part-time students will be billed per-credit and there are fees that may be adjusted in certain cases, the actual cost of tuition and fees may differ among students. Part-time students (Extended/Reduced Residency) per credit charge is $1,078*.
