The Master of Science Degree
Graduates of this program have chosen one of four practice methods: Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice, Advanced Generalist Practice and Programming, Policy Practice, or Social Enterprise Administration.

Each graduate has also specialized in one of seven fields of practice: Aging; Contemporary Social Issues; Family, Youth and Children Services; Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities; International Social Welfare and Services to Immigrants and Refugees; School Based and School Linked Services; or the World of Work.

A number of students complete dual degrees in social work and another field. These fields include Business Administration, Public Health, Jewish Studies, Law, Divinity, Urban Planning, Public Policy and Administration, International Affairs, and Special Education. Some students complete minors in Business Administration, International Social Welfare, Law, or Public Policy and Administration.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work Degree
Graduates of the Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work program are qualified for leadership positions in academia, research, and government and non-profit administration. For information about CUSSW Ph.D.s who are currently seeking positions, click here.
