The Frontiers of Drug Abuse Research A Conference Featuring New Social Work Pioneers |

Please join social work researchers from across the country as they present and discuss the latest advances in important new areas of drug abuse and prevention, treatment and service delivery.
This conference brings together social work researchers from universities across the country to present new and cutting edge research aimed at assisting individuals, families, and communities affected by drug abuse. The spectrum of topics covered by conference presenters include:
Innovative prevention and treatment approaches for prevalent yet unmet needs, including co-occuring conditions
Identification and in-depth understanding of new and/or emerging needs
Cultural competence and cultural congruity of interventions
Structural and organizational factors that affect drug treatment outcomes

All researchers, students, and service providers are invited to attend and contribute to the dialog on important new areas of drug abuse prevention, treatment, and service delivery. The conference is free and is first come, first served (i.e., no registration necessary).
