How to Register

Classes for all second-year students will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.

To view the Fall 2008 Course Schedule click here. Note that "T" means "Tuesday" and "R" means "Thursday."

Register as soon as you can (after your appointment time). You may find your appointment time by telephone (212-854-4488) or at Student Services Online. The first time listed is your assigned appointment time. It is the first time you have access to the registration system, and appointment times thereafter are for adding/dropping classes. Please note that you will not be allowed to register if you have a hold. To check to see if you have a hold, call 854-6464, or log on to Student Services Online.

NOTE: Starting with the Fall 2008 semester, students may no longer register for or drop classes via the telephone registration system. You may only register for classes online or in person, at the appropriate offices.

To register online:
1. Log on to Student Services Online (SSOL).
2. Click on "Registration."
2. Follow the system prompts

Dual Degree Program
Be sure to register on May 5th at 9:30 AM to increase your chances of getting into the course sections that you need. To see the recommended course plan for your program, click here.

Be sure to call, e-mail, or meet with your academic advisor if you have any questions about your course requirements. Extended Program
Extended Students in Field (T6010): You should register yourself for T7100 (Foundations of Social Work Practice), background course(s) if you have not completed these requirements (such as T6501, T660A-B or T6801), and elective(s). A list of elective courses can be found here. You are not eligible to take electives that require T7100 as a prerequisite. You will be automatically registered for T6010 Field Education.

Extended Students not in Field: You should register yourself for background course(s) if you have not completed these requirements (such as T6501, T660A-B or T6801), and elective(s). A list of elective courses can be found here. You are not eligible to take electives that require T7100 as a prerequisite.

Reduced Residency Program
Reduced Residency Students in Field (T6011): You should register yourself for T6011 (Field Instruction Seminar for Reduced Residency Students), T7100 (Foundations of Social Work Practice), background course(s) if you have not completed these requirements (such as T6501, T660A-B or T6801), and elective(s). A list of elective courses can be found here. You are not eligible to take electives that require T7100 as a prerequisite.
